Whisky czy Whiskey? Irlandzka Teeling Whiskey została uznana najlepszym single maltem na świecie według jurorów tegorocznej edycji konkursu World Whiskies Awards. A więc Whiskey! Trunek spędził większość swojego życia w beczkach po bourbonie, po czym został przelany na okres finiszowania do beczek po słodkim, francuskim winie Sauternes. Rozlano zaledwie 5000 butelek - sukces sprawił, że są dobrem pożądanym bardzo - trzeba wysupłać minimum 1400 zł za jedną sztukę...

Konkurs jest stosunkowo młody, ale wyznacza trendy i nadaje rangę nagrodzonym trunkom. W poprzednich latach triumfowali:
